Greetings,

Despite the challenging circumstances we’ve all faced in 2020, the Maverick community has remained singularly focused on our collective vision of supporting student success and academic excellence in equal measures. We continue to reach new heights in our research activity while remaining a welcoming place for students of all backgrounds and a driving force for Texas ingenuity and discovery.

You can see examples of Maverick innovation across our state, from our partnership with the city of Arlington on a mobility-on-demand service with autonomous vehicles to our research supporting TxDOT efforts to keep its workers safe and its projects on time through the challenges of the pandemic.

In recent months, we’ve seen UTA students, faculty, and staff rise to meet the moment, and I’m proud to share with you some of our recent accomplishments.

Sincerely,

Teik C. Lim signature
