Greetings,

In the face of unprecedented challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, the UTA community has excelled. We’ve made a swift transition to online learning. Our nursing and health professionals are working on the front lines to combat the virus. Our innovations and research are providing solutions for the new challenges we face. And we have maintained our unwavering commitment to excellence. UTA can look back on this challenging period with pride.

As we move forward, UTA is recommitting itself to the highest levels of academic excellence for our students, to growing as a community partner and to attaining Texas Tier One status in the near future.

I’m honored to serve as interim president of The University of Texas at Arlington, and I look forward to working with you to continue moving Texas forward.

Yours,
