Through the combined efforts of our world-renowned faculty, dedicated staff, and tremendous students, the University of Texas at Arlington continues to not just grow in academic reputation and rankings but also increase its impact on the communities we serve. We are pleased to celebrate the recent ranking of UTA as the #1 University in the nation for Veterans and the two #1 rankings in close succession for our Nursing programs. From a focus on specialized training for special education teachers and social workers, and the development of strategies for enhanced mobility of the elderly, to enhancing safety, life-cycle performance, and longevity of aircraft and pipelines, our faculty continue to focus on projects of high need with tremendous impact in each case ensuring that their work translates to immediate and long-term benefit to the communities we serve.
