Due to icy conditions on campus and out of an abundance of caution, UTA will continue with online classes and remote work through end-of-Friday, Feb. 3.
Please note this is a change from the University’s previous announcement sent Thursday and was made because of colder-than-predicted temperatures and refreezing that occurred overnight.
This change affects the main campus, UTA Research Institute, the UTA Fort Worth Center, and all other UTA locations.
All classes will remain online on Friday. Faculty and staff will continue to work remotely. Employees required to be on campus for emergency operations should report to UTA as usual. For specific questions about your duties or individual circumstances, please contact your supervisor.
Select dining services and campus buildings will remain open for students living on or near campus. Please refer to the following resources for the most up-to-date information about on-campus operations, UTA Athletics, special events, and performances:
Continue to monitor UTA’s website, Facebook and Twitter, and your UTA email for additional information. The University will communicate any changes to its schedule and operations via those channels.
Please refer to the email from the Office of Talent, Culture, and Inclusion sent on Monday for information on how to handle timesheets for those required to work on campus due to the nature of their roles.
