Vaccine clinic Wednesday at MAC
|
UTA has scheduled four additional on-campus clinics to offer the COVID‑19 vaccines and booster, free of cost, to UTA students, employees, and their families and dependents. The first is Wednesday, Feb. 16.
At UTA’s on-campus clinics, operated in partnership with Walmart, individuals 12 and older can receive first and second doses of both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Booster doses are available for all eligible individuals.
Each clinic will operate on a walk-in-only basis 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Room 102B in the Maverick Activities Center. Other clinics are on Wednesdays, March 2, March 16, and March 30.

CAAS conference: State of the Black Community
|
The Center for African American Studies’ 10th annual conference is focused on the State of the Black Community. The conference, which includes two keynote addresses and two panel discussions, is Thursday, Feb. 17.

CAPPA roof project to block driveway
|
The drive between the College of Architecture, Planning, and Public Affairs building and Campus Center is closed for a roof replacement on the former.
A fenced pathway will be available for pedestrian access to West Nedderman Drive.

The Summer Undergraduate Research Program in Integrative Physiology is open to all undergraduate students interested in STEM-related research.
Eligible students will be assigned to work in the laboratory of one of the participating faculty members Mondays-Thursdays. Fridays will be designated lab work and group-based discussions related to professional development in areas related to research and graduate school preparation.
