Keep watch on weather

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth is predicting freezing weather and wintry precipitation on Thursday, Feb. 3, for North Texas. Icy and hazardous roads are possible.

The University is closely monitoring the forecast and will notify all students, faculty, and staff if it affects classes, programs, events, and activities.

Notices also will be posted on the University’s home page, will be distributed to local media outlets, and will be posted on Facebook and Twitter.

Parking will not be enforcing permit restrictions Wednesday-Friday, so employees who need covered parking in a garage can have it. The late night security escort services will be operational, but if road conditions worsen during the evening hours, services will be suspended until road conditions improve.
