|
Bring your donations to the Winter Holiday Food Drive for the Maverick Pantry 9 a.m.-5 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 3, in front of the University Center.

Kerby Street removal
|
Kerby Street, off Greek Row Drive, will be removed to create more green space and room for outdoor activities. Homes on the street were removed earlier this year.
The site will have picnic tables, outdoor lighting, and wireless connections. Erosion control and other measures will be taken along the creek to alleviate flooding on campus caused by the creek.

Undergrad Exit Survey
|
Students graduating in December 2021 should complete the Undergraduate Exit Survey, available through Canvas. Responses are confidential. Eligible students will receive invites from gradteam@uta.edu.

First-Destination Survey
|
Graduating seniors are urged to complete the First-Destination Survey on Handshake for a chance to win one of five $100 Visa gift cards. This survey is separate from the UTA Exit Survey.

Vaccine clinic for ages 5 and older next week
|
UTA has a COVID‑19 vaccine clinic for ages 5 and older 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, in room 100B of the Maverick Activities Center.
The free walk‑in‑only clinic will be in the Maverick Activities Center and is open to UTA employees, students, and their dependents and family members.
The clinic offers first and second doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, as well as booster doses for eligible individuals.

|
Take a break from finals at the free Student Spa Retreat 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, in the Palo Duro Lounge of the UC. On the agenda are relaxing games and activities, mindfulness techniques, healthy snacks, door prizes, and giveaways.

The city of Arlington will host a job fair 2-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library at 100 S. Center St. Apply online and bring copies of your resume to the event.

Junior Rose Bowl
|
Special Collections hosts a Junior Rose Bowl mini exhibit commemorating Arlington State College (now UTA) winning the bowl game in 1956 and 1957. The display runs through Thursday, Dec. 23, on the sixth floor of the Central Library.

Glass art sale preview
|
Faculty and staff will have a preview of the Annual Holiday Glass Sale 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at the Studio Arts Center. On Saturday Dec. 11, the sale is open to the public 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The event will include live glassblowing demonstrations.
