Grad Finale sale

Grad Finale means it is time to order your Official UTA Maverick Ring and graduation regalia. Find them 10 a.m.-5 p.m. through Wednesday, Oct. 13, at the UTA Bookstore. The last day for ring sales is 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14.

Discover ways to volunteer

Find ways to give to the community at the Volunteer Opportunity Exchange 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, in the Palo Duro Lounge of the University Center.

The exchange allows the UTA community to network with area nonprofit agencies to find ongoing or short-term service learning or volunteer opportunities.

Volunteering is part of the Maverick Advantage's distinguishing activity of community engagement.

'Pride in the Archives' exhibit

UTA Special Collections hosts a mini-exhibit of photographs taken during an early iteration of Tarrant County's Gay Pride Week. The display runs through Monday, Oct. 18, on the sixth floor of the Central Library.

Early voting at MAC

Early voting for the Nov. 2 elections is at the Maverick Activities Center 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, Oct. 18-22, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, Oct. 25-29.

EpICMavs workshops

Night Shelter donation drive

The Center for African American Studies is hosting a donation drive for the Presbyterian Night Shelter. Needed are hygiene items such as soap, lotion, razors, deodorant, socks, bras, or underwear. Bring to suite 129 of the Swift Center through Friday, Oct. 29.
