Diversity, inclusion survey

The deadline to complete the UTA Campus Climate Survey on diversity and inclusion has been extended to today, Friday, May 7. The survey takes about 15 minutes. Skip any question you do not feel comfortable answering. Your response is confidential.

Update resume, cover letter

Davis Hall name change

The University of Texas System Board of Regents voted to approve changing the name of UTA’s Davis Hall to the University Administration Building.

Emergency Broadband Benefit Program

Beginning Wednesday, May 12, eligible households will be able to enroll in the FCC's Emergency Broadband Benefit Program, which will allow them to receive a monthly discount off the cost of broadband service and/or devices from an approved provider. Eligible households include those with a Pell Grant recipient or that have experienced significant income loss since February 2020.

UTA students can familiarize themselves with eligibility requirements and the registration process by visiting https://getemergencybroadband.org before enrollment opens.

Attendance policy survey

Complete a student survey on your experiences with faculty members’ attendance policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes flexibility regarding disabilities and chronic illnesses, COVID-19, and other illnesses; caregiving and parenting responsibilities; and work.

Undergrad Exit Survey

Students graduating in May 2021 should complete the Undergraduate Exit Survey—available through Canvas—by Monday, May 31. Responses are confidential. Eligible students will receive survey invitations from iersurveys@uta.edu.

  • May 18—Census Date for summer intersession.
  • May 20—Census Date for first seven-week term.
  • May 26—Last day to drop classes for summer intersession; submit requests to advisor prior to 4 p.m.
