Free COVID-19 diagnostic, proactive testing services

UTA Health Services continues to offer free COVID-19 testing for students and has now expanded its services to provide proactive surveillance testing for all students. UTA administers PCR tests that meet diagnostic requirements for returning to school and work and provide clearance for travel and medical procedures. Test results are available in 24-48 hours.

Proactive screening tests are available on campus every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Students can schedule appointments at https://mavcare.uta.edu. The testing location will be confirmed when you schedule your appointment.

Students with COVID-19 symptoms or who need a test on a day other than Tuesday or Thursday due to COVID-19 exposure should call 817-272-2771 to schedule a consultation with a health center medical provider. If you are experiencing symptoms, please do not utilize the proactive surveillance testing sessions.

For COVID-19 testing sites available after-hours and on weekends, please visit the Texas COVID-19 Test Collection Site Locator. In the event of a medical emergency, call 911 and inform the dispatcher of COVID-19 concerns.
