Pass/fail option submissions start Monday

The fall 2020 pass/fail grading request form opens Monday, Dec. 21.

The policy allows each student to request up to two courses for pass/fail grading. See the full list of fall 2020 courses available for the pass/fail grading option under this policy.

Students considering the pass/fail option should:

  • Consult with their advisors about the pass/fail option.
  • Submit a pass/fail grading request form 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21-1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22. The form will not be accessible until Dec. 21, but the link should be bookmarked.

Visit the Fall 2020 Pass/Fail Student FAQs page for answers to many questions you may have about the policy and process. See the Dec. 9 listening session.

Register for free COVID-19 testing

UTA Health Services continues to offer free COVID-19 testing for students. New appointment times are available 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at the Maverick Activities Center.

The American College Health Association recommends students be tested for COVID prior to traveling for the upcoming semester break. Please note, the CDC does not recommend testing if you have already tested positive in the preceding three months and do not currently have symptoms.

There are a limited number of spots available, so an appointment is required. Students can schedule an appointment through the MavCare Patient Portal at mavcare.uta.edu. Follow registration instructions.

You will receive notification of your results two to three days after your appointment.

If you cannot make your appointment, please cancel through mavcare.uta.edu.
