Learn more about pass/fail

UTA has scheduled two informational listening sessions to answer general questions about the pass/fail policy:

Students may submit questions live during these sessions or in advance. Sessions will be recorded and made available for those who are unable to attend.

See the full list of fall 2020 courses available for the pass/fail grading option under this policy.

The policy allows each student to request up to two courses for pass/fail grading.

  • When fall 2020 grades post in MyMav Monday, Dec. 21, students seeking the pass/fail option will need to submit a pass/fail grading request form. This form will not be accessible until Dec. 21, but it is recommended students bookmark the link for easy access.
  • Students will have 24 hours—1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22—to submit their pass/fail grading requests.
  • Students who are considering requesting pass/fail are strongly encouraged to contact their advisor soon, before grades post, to develop a plan.

Visit the Fall 2020 Pass/Fail Student FAQs page for answers to many questions you may have about the policy and process.
