Don't take the bait; beware of phishing

There is a new phishing scam targeting the UTA community trying to collect financial information from victims. The fake links look like UTA websites, but aren't legitimate. Learn more about phishing.
If you have any doubt of the legitimacy of the email, do not respond or click on any links. Please forward the email to phish@uta.edu.

Hazing notice for UTA students
|
University students are encouraged to learn more about hazing, Texas laws concerning hazing, and UTA's hazing policy.
Under the law, individuals or organizations engaging in hazing could be subject to fines and charged with criminal offenses.
Educational institutions are required publish a report regarding any registered student organizations that have been found responsible for, cited for, or convicted of hazing over the past three years. See the UTA hazing report.

- Sept. 2—Census date for first eight-week term
- Sept. 7—Labor Day Holiday: No classes, UTA closed
- Sept. 11—Census date for fall semester
- Sept. 17—Last day to drop classes for first five-week term; submit request to advisor by 4 p.m.
