Street closure
|
Spaniolo Street from UTA Boulevard to Mitchell Street will be repainted today, Thursday, Aug. 11-Friday, Aug. 12. Access will remain open to the College Park garages, UTA Bookstore, and retail parking lots from Oak Street and Center Street.

The Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station and UTA have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a framework for increasing collaboration to expand the aerospace defense manufacturing community in Texas.

|
Sharareh “Sherri” Kermanshachi, associate professor of civil engineering, was named a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Report employee education or training
|
Texas statute requires UTA to report spending greater than $5,000 per employee on training and education for a professional license, certification, or degree. If your department has employees to report, visit Reporting Education/Training for University Employees to access the reporting template. The deadline to submit is Friday, Aug. 19.

Military PTSD survey
|
Military-connected participants are needed for a survey by the School of Social Work. The study is to better understand the factors, elements, and turning points that contribute to a military loss or trauma becoming a personal post-traumatic growth experience that results in a transformation outcome of helping others.
