Faculty Facilitator program
|
Applications are being taken for the UTA Libraries Faculty Facilitators Program through Wednesday, Dec. 15. Faculty will work with Experiential Learning librarians to utilize library resources in their curriculum and assignments.

Kerby Street removal
|
Kerby Street, off Greek Row Drive, will be removed to create more green space and room for outdoor activities. Homes on the street were removed earlier this year.
The site will have picnic tables, outdoor lighting, and wireless connections. Erosion control and other measures will be taken along the creek to alleviate flooding on campus caused by the creek.

|
The Student Success Champion Award from the Division of Student Success celebrates staff and faculty members who have demonstrated advancements in student success culture and innovation, retention and completion, service to students, and experiential learning.
Nominations are being accepted through Monday, Jan. 31.

Vaccine clinic for ages 5 and older next week
|
UTA has a COVID‑19 vaccine clinic for ages 5 and older 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, in room 100B of the Maverick Activities Center.
The free walk‑in‑only clinic will be in the Maverick Activities Center and is open to UTA employees, students, and their dependents and family members.
The clinic offers first and second doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, as well as booster doses for eligible individuals.

Special Collections hosts a Junior Rose Bowl mini exhibit commemorating Arlington State College (now UTA) winning the bowl game in 1956 and 1957. The display runs through Thursday, Dec. 23, on the sixth floor of the Central Library.

Glass art sale preview
|
Faculty and staff will have a preview of the Annual Holiday Glass Sale 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at the Studio Arts Center. On Saturday Dec. 11, the sale is open to the public 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The event will include live glassblowing demonstrations.
