Electrical outage planned
|
In order to replace the electrical feeder supporting the below listed buildings, the Office of Facilities Management must schedule an electrical outage for some buildings 6 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, to noon Sunday, Nov. 28. Emergency back-up generators in these buildings will be maintained throughout this outage to power crucial services.
Buildings affected are CAPPA (Architecture), Earth & Environmental Sciences (Geoscience), Engineering Lab, Fine Arts, Nanofab, Nedderman Hall, and Woolf Hall.
To prevent possible data loss, please save any computer work in progress. Also, turn off all electronic equipment including computers, scanners, and copiers; they do not need to be unplugged.
Anyone having questions or concerns, or needing emergency power to support research, should contact either Toby Buhrkuhl at 972‑832‑1490 or Jeff Johnson at 817‑798‑8456.
