Climate change threats

Climate scientist Arne Winguth, professor and chair of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, predicts threatening weather events could substantially increase if current global-warming trends continue.

'Pride in the Archives' exhibit

Night Shelter donation drive

The Center for African American Studies is hosting a donation drive for the Presbyterian Night Shelter. Needed are hygiene items such as soap, lotion, razors, deodorant, socks, bras, or underwear. Bring to suite 129 of the Swift Center through Friday, Oct. 29.

Tri-C Food Pantry

The Tri-C Food Pantry needs cereal bars, soap, canned beans, pasta, pasta sauce, canned chicken, toilet paper, and feminine hygiene products. Drop off donations 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday at 405 W. 1st St. For more details, email tri.c.cyndi@gmail.com.
