COVID-19 testing expanded

Effective today, Monday, March 1, Curative administers free COVID-19 tests for employees and students 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. UTA’s Curative testing center is located at 435 Spaniolo Drive in the College Park District.

Appointments are encouraged but not required. They can be made through UTA’s portal on Curative’s website. Dependents of employees can receive free tests with an appointment.

Art and Disability discussion Friday

Listen to a panel discussion of Art & Disability at 2-4 p.m. Friday, March 5, on Teams. The Department of Art and Art History hosts a group of scholars, artists, and students in its inaugural Dialogues in Art event.

Storm resources

Find storm recovery resources on the Human Resources Storm Assistance and the city of Arlington Storm Recovery websites. Employees also can use the Employee Assistance Program and the UTA/Tri-C Food Pantry.

Give to EAF

Help students in need after the recent winter storm by donating to the Emergency Assistance Fund (EAF). The fund provides limited financial assistance to students who are struggling financially due to uncontrollable circumstances.

Food Pantry donations

Make an appointment to drop off donations to the UTA/Tri-C Food Pantry between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. For more details on needs and donation delivery, call 817-933-6520.

Avoid fraud schemes

As residents are trying to mop up and make repairs after the winter storm, con artists are taking advantage of storm victims. Watch the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office video about avoiding fraud.

MAC showers

Employees without water because of the winter storm can shower at the Maverick Activities Center. If not a member, bring your own towel and toiletries.

SEIR building outage postponed

A planned electrical outage for the SEIR building the past weekend was postponed. The outage will be 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, March 7.
