Lim named interim president
|
Provost Teik Lim was named UTA's interim president by UT System Chancellor James B. Milliken.
Dr. Lim joined UTA in 2017. He is vice president of academic affairs and a professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering.

Health informatics hires
|
UTA has taken a major step toward fulfilling its goal of becoming a leader in health informatics by hiring Marion Ball, a member of the National Academy of Medicine, and Gabriela Wilson, who served as chair of the University of Southern Indiana’s Health Informatics and Information Management Program.
Together they will establish the Multi-Interprofessional Center for Health Informatics at UTA (MICHI-UTA).

Families First training classes offered

The Office of Human Resources is providing in-depth training for managers and employees to understand the Families First Coronavirus Response Act through online training sessions focused on this temporary paid time off plan.

'Work of Art' mental health program starts this week
|
Work of Art is an emotional fitness campaign designed to help you learn skills that boost happiness and foster resilience. You can choose habits to enhance mindfulness, share gratitude, increase optimism, and make stronger connections. The program is part of the UT System Living Well program.
