Your pay and benefits

Payroll Services will be open for check pickup from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, March 23; Wednesday, March 25; and Friday, March 27, in the J.D. Wetsel Building, 1225 W. Mitchell St.

All future paydays will follow the same pattern, with Payroll Services open 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on the payday and the immediate Monday, Wednesday, and Friday that follow.

The next monthly payday is Wednesday, April 1. Payroll Services will be open 8 a.m.-1 p.m. that day and Friday April 3; Monday April 6; and Wednesday April 8.

Direct Deposit: To expedite your receipt of payroll and avoid unnecessary physical contact, please consider direct deposit to your bank or savings account. Read the instructions for direct deposit enrollment. Please email payroll@uta.edu if you have any questions.

Timesheets: Employees must continue to follow their departmental procedures for completing timesheets and entering work and/or leave time while working from home or the office.

UTShare: You should be able to access UTShare from outside of the UTA network using the DUO Mobile authentication. Read more in the Multi-Factor Authentication Enrollment Guide.

  • When possible, refrain from downloading data from UTShare to your personal computer.
  • For transactions that require a document be attached, if a scanner is not available, a high-quality, legible picture of the document will be accepted.

Cost centers and ProCards

Cost Centers: UTA is establishing Cost Centers to track expenses directly related to the COVID-19 virus only at the vice president, provost, and dean levels. The Cost Centers have budgets established already to allow transactions to be processed immediately. Read more about the COVID-19 Cost Center process and costs to be captured.

ProCard Usage: There are temporary updates to ProCard usage guidelines, including off-campus shipments.

Working online

UTA Remote: UTA Remote has key strategies and resources to help faculty and staff make the shift to working remotely.

Teams: Microsoft Teams is a communication and collaboration platform that combines workplace chat, video meetings, file storage, and application integration.

Help Desk: For connection and other telecommuting technology issues, contact the Help Desk at 817-272-2208, through Chat, or via a ServiceNow request form.

The Market at UC

  • Beginning Saturday, March 21, the Market in the University Center will be open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays-Sundays and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.
  • The Market will have a small meal distribution operation in it.
  • Bulk ordering for students is available at dineoncampus.com/utarlington.
  • All other locations will be closed until further notice.

Academic delivery

A number of resources have been made available to support faculty in adapting to and utilizing UTA’s online platforms for course instruction by the Office of the Provost, the Center for Distance Education and Center for Research on Teaching and Learning Excellence.

Shuttle services

  • Late Night Security Escort service is 7 p.m.-midnight daily. Customers can request a ride via the Tapride by Doublemap app.
  • The Mav Mover shuttle bus service is operating 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday.
  • The shopping shuttle is available 6-9 p.m. Monday-Friday. Customers can download the Doublemap app for real-time tracking and announcements.
