Maria Konsta-Gdoutos, a civil engineering professor and associate director of the Center for Advanced Construction Materials, has been elected a fellow of the European Academy of Sciences, Engineering Division.

UTA supports science fair
|
|
A new UTA Provost Award will be presented at the Fort Worth Regional Science and Engineering Fair Sunday-Monday, Feb. 23-24, at College Park Center. The fair, funded by the Provost's office and Lockheed Martin, allows hundreds of middle and high school students to participate in the competition and engage in UTA campus activities.

|
|
Two new procedures have been published on the UTA Policies, Procedures, and Forms site.
Threat Assessment and Management (Procedure CO-CS-PR15 ) describes how the Threat Assessment Management Team (TAMT) works collaboratively with the campus community and others to identify potential risks.
Driving Records/Training (Procedure CO-CV-PR2) outlines responsibilities and procedures covering the authorized use of University-owned and -operated vehicles.
