Trinity House demolition

Trinity demo to start

Demolition will start on the east side of Trinity House Thursday-Friday, Dec. 5-6.

The sidewalk and turn lane from Greek Row Drive to southbound West Nedderman Drive will be closed. An officer will direct two-way traffic for the affected area.

Demolition is expected to be complete by Monday, Jan. 20. Spring semester classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 21.

The residence hall will be replaced with a $26 million Administrative and Faculty Support Services Building.

Parking options include faculty/staff and general permit lots.

Where will I park?

Faculty and staff parking will be affected by the demolition of Trinity House.

  • Friday-Sunday, Dec. 6-8—The Trinity West parking lot will be closed.
  • Monday, Dec. 16—The Trinity West lot and the Trinity residential lot will be closed indefinitely.
  • Monday-Friday, Dec. 16-20—Parking options are lots F7, F8, parts of 34, University Village, and Arbor Oaks apartments.
  • January—Lot 34, east of The Commons and the Park West garage for students, will become a faculty/staff parking lot. A shuttle stop for the blue route is located in front of The Commons.

UTA plays in NIVC

The UTA volleyball team will compete in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship, set for Thursday-Friday, Dec. 5-6, at College Park Center.

The deadline for the UTA CARES Grant Program has been extended to Wednesday, Feb. 5. The program supports educators interested in transitioning to open educational resources.
