UTA chemists named to global power list
|
Three chemists at UTA have been recognized among the top 100 scientists in the world by The Analytical Scientist magazine.
Daniel Armstrong, left, Robert A. Welch Distinguished Professor; Purnendu “Sandy” Dasgupta, center, Hamish Small Chair in Ion Analysis; and Kevin Schug, right, Shimadzu Distinguished Professor of Analytical Chemistry, were named to the magazine’s 2019 Power List. The professors have appointments in the Department of Chemistry in the College of Science.

Blackboard users will retain access through Sunday, Dec. 1.
Please export your courses or organizations if you would like to retain a copy of the content. Courses from fall 2017 to summer 2019 will be archived and stored offline to meet data retention requirements. All other courses, organizations, and content will be deleted in December.
Please download and save any content you need from your MyFiles storage. This data also will be deleted.

Joe White a Rising Star

The University of Texas System Supply Chain Alliance recognized Joe White, assistant director of Procurement, with the Rising Star Award. The honor recognizes innovation, leadership, and dedication to the individual's UT campus.
The UT System Supply Chain Alliance was created to expand the use of joint purchasing and explore new opportunities to leverage the collective size and strength of UT System institutions through cooperative purchasing.

Roast beef, roasted turkey with gravy, and lots of other holiday dishes will be part of the Thanksgiving Lunch Buffet 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at the University Club.
