Animals join Jack Hanna on stage

A cheetah, an armadillo, and a flamingo walk into College Park Center...to join Jungle Jack Hanna at the Maverick Speakers Series event at 7:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 5. The animal expert plans to bring these, a sloth, porcupines, an African penguin, and many other animals from the Dallas Zoo to his lecture. Tickets are still available for the VIP reception. Faculty and staff tickets are free; limit two.

Heart Walk this Friday

Join the UTA Wellness Committee to walk for 10 minutes anytime 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, for the UT System Heart Walk. Meet at 10 a.m. at the Texas Hall box office for a collector's pin.

Volunteer Opportunity Exchange

Network with area nonprofit agency representatives to find ongoing or short-term service learning or volunteer opportunities. The event is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in the Palo Duro Lounge of the University Center.

Romancing the Stars

Enjoy a romantic evening under the dark night sky at 6 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 14-16, at the UTA Planetarium. Our astronomers will take you on an adventure of love through space. Tickets are $10 each.
