A temporary outage of natural gas service is in effect today, Wednesday, Oct. 10, for buildings east of Cooper Street. The outage should last no more than two hours.

There is no need to evacuate any campus buildings.

The outage will affect the natural gas service to most buildings on East Campus, including food service at the University Center and hot water in restrooms and residence halls.

West Campus and the College Park District will not be affected.
