MavsMeet, Afterparty start fall semester
|
New and returning Mavericks gathered at Texas Hall on Tuesday for the annual MavsMeet Convocation. The audience enjoyed performances by the UTA marching band, dance groups, and Blaze. Keynote speaker and radio personality Rock-T delivered words of inspiration. The AfterParty on the Library mall gave students a chance to play before the first day of classes. See more photos.

Graham Hill first in new season of Maverick Speakers Series

Graham Hill—one of Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business—opens the Maverick Speakers Series for 2018-19 on Thursday, Sept. 13, at Texas Hall. He will speak on "Removing the Unnecessary in Life and Business." Tickets are free for UTA students, faculty, and staff; limit two. General admission tickets are $5.
