Campus closed for Thanksgiving holiday
|
Thanksgiving break means no classes or business hours Thursday-Friday, Nov. 23-24, but a few campus spots will have adjusted hours.
- Dining Services will close the Connection Café from 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, until 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26. Other dining locations will close early Wednesday and remain closed Thursday-Sunday.
- The University Center will be closed from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 2 p.m. Sunday.
- UTA Libraries will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23-Saturday, Nov. 25.
- Check the Campus Recreation hours for the Maverick Activities Center, swimming pool, and climbing wall.
- Health Services will be closed Thursday-Sunday.

Graduate school info session for UTA employees
|
Faculty and staff can learn about a graduate education from UTA at an information session noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, in the Guadalupe Room of the University Center. The session will cover the admission process, available graduate programs, how to finance a graduate education, and more. Lunch is provided, but seats are limited. Register online.

Donate toys, clothing to holiday drive for children
|
Student Affairs is collecting items for a holiday donation drive benefiting Alliance for Children. Items needed include toys, arts and crafts, dolls, action figures, books, clothing, shoes, toiletries, and gift cards for teenagers. Donations are due by Thursday, Dec. 7. Bring items to:
- Student Affairs office, 180H, University Center
- Main info desk, lower level, University Center
- Front desk, Maverick Activities Center
- Apartment & Residence Life office, Room 100, Arlington Hall
