Leadership Academy nominations due Friday

Nominations for the UTA Leadership Academy are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27. The academy is designed as a broad leadership development program that includes the essential characteristics and skills needed to be an effective leader in a higher education environment. The focus is on practical leadership topics, issues within higher education, and personal leadership development. LEARN MORE.

Volunteer for Halloween Casino Night

Faculty and staff are needed to help make Halloween Casino Night a success. Volunteers are needed for set-up during the day Friday, Oct. 27, and for 90-minute shifts during the event, 8 p.m.-midnight Saturday, Oct. 28, in the Bluebonnet Ballroom of the University Center. UT System Day festivities Nov. 10

Wear your Maverick attire to the UT System Day celebration 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, in the Maverick Activity Center's second floor atrium. The celebration goes online with the hashtag #ALLUT, where you can join with System colleagues across Texas. Take a picture or two in the photo spot, post them to your favorite social media site, and follow along as others across Texas do the same. Sign up your department for a table to distribute promotional materials. UT System Day is made possible by The Office of Human Resources, the Staff Advisory Council, and the UT System Employee Advisory Council.
