Financial Seminar Series

The Office of Human Resources has introduced a new financial seminar series to assist faculty and staff, whether they are new to investing or are planning for retirement. The series is free, but registration is required.
The first seminar, Retirement Strategies for Women, is noon-1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, in Room 228 of the Engineering Research Building. For details regarding the seminars and registration, look for classes marked (FINANCE) on the Learning and Development webpage.

Happy Birthday, UTA
|
Celebrate UTA's 122nd birthday at the UTA Founders' Day event at noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, on the Library mall. Learn about our University's history, listen to comments from President Vistasp Karbhari, Student Body President Katie Gosa, and Mr. and Ms. UTA Dillian Frelow and Razeena Moosa. The party includes a performance from the UTA Spirit Groups and Blaze, singing of Happy Birthday and UTA fight song, and birthday cake.

First Undergraduate Research Showcase Week
|
UTA's first Undergraduate Research Showcase Week highlights research and creative projects in all major fields. The week features seminars, panel discussions, workshops, and posters from undergraduate participants in the summer research project. Events are 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13-Friday, Oct. 20, on the sixth floor of the Central Library.
