The Lady Mavericks play at 7 p.m. tonight against Tulane in New Orleans in the first round of WNIT competition. See the story below for more details.

Come cheer on the Maverick men on Monday night right here at College Park Center at 7 p.m. as they host Akron in the second round. The lower bowl of College Park Center is almost sold out, so get your tickets now! Faculty and staff can purchase tickets at $5 with ID.

Mavs to play Akron in NIT Monday at College Park Center

The sixth-seeded Mavericks basketball team, regular-season champions of the Sun Belt Conference, will host seventh-seeded Akron on Monday in the second round of the National Invitational Tournament. The men's team beat Brigham Young University 105-89 on Wednesday night in a first-round NIT game. Faculty and staff tickets are $5 each at utatickets.com. LEARN MORE.


Lady Mavericks set for tonight's WNIT game at Tulane

The UTA women's basketball team will take on Tulane at 7 p.m. today, Thursday, March 16, in New Orleans for its first game in the Women's National Invitational Tournament. Go online to watch the game live and follow live stats. The winner of Thursday's match will take on the winner of Ole Miss vs. Grambling State game with a date, time, and location to be determined.
