Claim your tickets to see CNN host and economic and political columnist Fareed Zakaria when he discusses "The Politics and Culture of the Global Economy" at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, at College Park Center for the Maverick Speakers Series.
VIP packages include a private dinner and photograph with the speaker. Preferred seating has front-of-the-line access to the venue. The lecture is free for students, faculty, and staff and costs $5 for community members.

Volunteers needed for ACES
|
Faculty, staff, and students can lend a hand for UTA's day-long research and creative activity symposium, the Annual Celebration of Excellence by Students, or ACES. Undergraduate and graduate students in all disciplines provide oral and poster presentations about their research Wednesday, March 22. Register to volunteer during the morning and afternoon sessions.

The We're Listening form is available for faculty and staff to submit any ideas or concerns. Questions, suggestions, and comments can be made anonymously. Various campus leaders will answer questions about policies and procedures.

University Center to charge room use fee in fall
|
Beginning on Sept. 1, University Center Operations will charge departments that use major space in the building. The fee is 10 percent of the overall room charge for non-UTA users. The University’s Handbook of Operating Procedures defines major space as Bluebonnet Ballroom, Carlisle Suite, Palo Duro Lounge, Red River/Concho, Rio Grande Ballroom, and Rosebud Theatre.
