UTA complies with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act that requires institutions of higher education to design and implement alcohol and illicit drugs programs on their campuses. In compliance with the Act, the University has adopted and implemented a program to prevent “the unlawful possession, use, or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol by students and employees” on University property or as part of any University activity.
