Cast your vote in #MavGrad2016 cap design contest
|
See how the traditional mortar board can transform into a message medium and fashion statement in the #MavGrad2016 Fall Cap Design Competition. Graduating students decorated their Commencement headgear with the hopes of winning a custom UTA prize package. See the entries and vote by liking your favorite by 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15. Only likes on photos in the album will be counted, not on shares or reposts. All Facebook reactions will count as votes.

University Club hosts holiday buffet Thursday
|
The University Club's Executive Chef E. David Aldape will host a holiday buffet for faculty and staff 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15.
The menu includes turkey breast, roast beef, dressing, garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli rice risotto, parmesan carrots, baked apple and sweet potato, caesar salad, ambrosia, and a grilled vegetable platter.

Papers wanted for spring conference on culture, society
|
The Department of Modern Languages and UTA Libraries have issued a call for papers for the Culture and Society: Bridging the Gap Conference set for Monday-Tuesday, April 10-11. The event brings together students, faculty, and professionals for engaging, multidisciplinary conversations. Submissions are due by Thursday, Feb. 9.
