Reza Aslan enthralled audience at Texas Hall

Author and religious scholar Reza Aslan works on giving the Maverick sign Tuesday at Texas Hall for the Maverick Speakers Series's first event of the year. Dr. Aslan spoke to students in a master class in the afternoon, then shared dinner and conversation with fans and dignitaries, such as UTA President Vistasp Karbhari, before the evening lecture. Sign up for the World Heart Day's Cyclethon at the Maverick Activities Center. Teams must keep their bike pedaling noon-midnight Monday, Sept. 26, at the MAC. Cost is $35 per team, which will be donated to the American Heart Association.

Workflow training available for document creators
|
UT Share Workflow will be implemented on Monday, Oct. 3. Users will no longer use UTA Flow for submitting and approving documents for travel, requisitions, IDTs, and vouchers. Supervisors who are not department approvers will now be required to approve travel authorizations and cash advances and can attend the Document Creators training sessions.
