The 2021 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (the “Report”) has been published online. These statistics include crimes that occurred on campus, in non-campus properties owned or controlled by UTA and frequented by students, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to campus.
The Report also includes information on fire statistics for campus residential properties for the prior three calendar years and current fire safety systems in these properties. In addition, the Report contains UTA policies related to the safety and security of our campus community, which includes our main campus, our UTA Research Institute campus, and our Santa Fe (Fort Worth) campus. Additionally, minor updates have been made to the 2020 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, which will remain available until October 1, 2023. Updates include the following:
- The addition of two (2) stalking statistics, two (2) domestic violence statistics, two (2) aggravated assault statistics, and two (2) drug arrest statistics
- The removal of one (1) drug arrest statistic
- The removal of two (2) sexual assault statistics that were improperly attributed to calendar year 2019 when they should have been included as statistics in 2018
Further, the 2019 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, available until October 1, 2022, also now reflects the following updates:
- The addition of two (2) sexual assaults which were erroneously attributed to calendar year 2019
- The addition of one (1) domestic violence statistic
