In response to continued interest from our community, we are pleased to announce three additional on-campus COVID‑19 vaccine clinics open to all employees and students free of cost.
Like our previous clinics, these clinics are offered in partnership with Walmart. Both doses of the FDA-approved Pfizer vaccine will be administered.
Each will operate on a walk-in-only basis and be held in the exercise rooms of the Maverick Activities Center.
- Thursday, September 23 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday, September 30 – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 6 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If you received your first vaccine dose at the Sept. 15 clinic, you will be eligible to receive your second dose at the Oct. 6 clinic.
Students will receive a $50 gift card to the UTA Bookstore per vaccine received at our on-campus clinics. This means you can receive $100 total if you get both doses through our clinic.
Additionally, we’ve extended the deadline for the Maverick Motivator Program to Oct. 6 to allow more Mavericks the chance to get both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and enter for large prizes. Regardless of where you received your vaccine, upload proof of full vaccination to the COVID‑19 Self Report portal in MyMav for a chance to receive tuition scholarships, free parking and meal plans, MacBook Pros, and more.
If our on-campus clinic schedule doesn’t accommodate your needs, the COVID‑19 vaccine is readily available to you free of charge.
There’s no question about it: Vaccines are our best defense against COVID‑19 and its variants, and they are critical to the restoration of normalcy. If you’re able to get vaccinated and haven’t already, we hope you’ll consider doing so soon.
