Dear Mavericks,

Welcome back to our new normal! I hope you had a wonderful first full week of class, whether you are learning remotely or here on campus. For our new incoming students, I hope you are especially enjoying Maverick Stampede and taking advantage of all the rich opportunities to get to know UTA.

We appreciate your continued efforts to keep our community healthy, and request you to continue to help keep our community safe as we approach a long weekend.

Please remember to:

Complete your COVID-19 online training by Sept. 11.
Report close contact or positive COVID-19 test results immediately.
Check for COVID-19 symptoms daily using the UTA Mobile App.
Stay home if you don’t feel well.
On-campus residents, please remember to follow the guidelines set up for your safety, including the restrictions of guests.
Avoid large gatherings where social distancing is not possible, and follow city and state orders that prohibit these gatherings.

Additionally, as you gear up to study on campus, make sure to check out this new campus map of student resources that show indoor study spaces and charging locations across campus.
