Dear UTA Faculty and Staff,
As part of its commitment to the safety and well-being of students, faculty, staff and visitors, The University of Texas at Arlington has assembled a number of protocols and best practices to guide the campus as it implements the Faculty and Staff Repopulation Plan.
To increase awareness and foster adoption of these protocols, UTA has established a return-to-campus training to engage all faculty, staff and students with the standards that protect them in the workplace and reduce the spread of COVID-19 on UTA’s campus.
All Faculty and Staff are required to complete the COVID-19 Return-to-Campus Training in Canvas before the start date of the repopulation phase that includes their department. For those essential employees already working on campus, please complete the training no later than July 10th.
To enroll in the course:
Go to https://uta.catalog.instructure.com/courses/covidtraining
- Select “Enroll”
- When prompted to enter your information, select the “Already Have an Account” sign-in option
- Sign in using your UTA email and enroll
If you have trouble accessing training, contact compliance@uta.edu or 817-272-2080.
Unit managers and supervisors are expected to ensure their direct reports are completing the training before returning to the workplace, especially in cases of employees that do not regularly access their UTA email as part of their day-to-day duties.
