Maverick Motivator Program
Encouraging UTA to Mav Up and put their sleeves up to protect UTA by getting the COVID-19 vaccine.
UTA believes vaccines are our best defense against COVID-19 and is committed to providing easy, free access to the vaccine for its community. All Mavericks are encouraged to get the vaccine if they’re able. The Maverick Motivator Program has been established to encourage you to Mav Up and Sleeve Up.

All Mavericks have the option to report their vaccination status using the COVID-19 Self Report portal in MyMav.
Maverick Motivator Program Rewards
Students who submit proof of full vaccination, regardless of whether it was received on or off campus, to the COVID-19 Health Portal in MyMav by Oct. 6 will be eligible to receive one of the following incentive prizes:
- 1 student will receive two semesters of free tuition
- 3 students will receive one semester of free tuition
- 10 students (who do not live on campus) will receive a free commuter meal plan for one academic year
- 10 students (who live on campus) will receive one semester of free housing
- 25 students will receive a one-year parking permit
- 25 students will receive a $500 book scholarship through Follett Bookstores
- 10 students will receive a 16” MacBook Pro
