Dr. Geisel Auditorium Dedication
President Cowley joined the College of Architecture Planning and Public Affairs in unveiling the Dr. Geisel Auditorium.
This dedication is in honor of Professor Emeritus Dr. Paul Geisel, who has been an integral part of the College and University. Dr. Geisel has made numerous contributions over the years, including forming the early stages of the School of Urban and Public Affairs, graduating and mentoring many public servants across our region and state, and supporting research through his generous gift.
Dr. Geisel dedicated 35 years of service to the University, and now we are dedicating this auditorium to him in recognition of his continued leadership and commitment to CAPPA students. His years of service and contributions to his students and the college are greatly appreciated.
We are grateful to all who came to celebrate with us and wore different hats, a favorite tradition of Dr. Geisel. And Special thanks to Dr. Cowley, our new UTA president, for gracing the occasion.
