Submission of an SAT or ACT test score is required to be considered for the highest academic scholarships.
We encourage students to apply to UTA and submit their FAFSA/TAFSA to determine eligibility for scholarships and financial aid. Complete the FAFSA online at StudentAid.gov. UTA school code: 003656. For more information, visit the UTA Scholarships page.
Other Ways to Fund Your College Education
Undergraduate students are eligible for federal loans and can borrow up to $12,500 each year in Direct Unsubsidized Loans, which may be partially subsidized. Direct PLUS Loans, which are available to parents of undergraduate students, also can be used for the remainder of costs not covered by other financial aid. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA to see if they qualify for federal loans. Banks and credit unions offer private student loans. Students may apply directly with the lender.
