Merit-Based Scholarships for New, Undergraduate Students
UTA offers over $40 million in scholarships each academic year for students. At UTA, our students and their needs come first. This generous scholarship program is used to reward academic excellence and to improve college access.
To be considered for UTA's merit-based scholarships, students must turn-in all documents required by UTA Admissions before the scholarship deadline. By meeting this requirement, all new, incoming students are considered for these scholarships. No additional application is needed.
The scholarship deadline for UTA merit-based scholarships for students admitted for the spring 2026 semester is November 14, 2025. The scholarship deadline for UTA merit-based scholarships for students admitted for the fall 2026 semester is March 1, 2026.
Accepting an offer of any of the Merit-Based Scholarships listed below will result in automatic acceptance of admission to UTA.
Note: The Scholarships Office does not offer scholarships for incoming graduate students, students in a non-degree seeking program, accelerated online students, or students in the Coordinated Admission Program (CAP). We encourage all students to visit Mav ScholarShop for additional merit and need-based scholarships available at the university.
