Timeline

Coordinating Board rule, Texas Administration Code 4.31 (2), allows each Texas public higher education institution one comprehensive request for change per year.  The timeline of the UTA core proposal process allows for newly approved core courses to be available for students in the following Fall term. Please note that new courses should be approved by the University Curriculum Committee prior to submission for consideration for the core. 2024-25 Timeline

December 6, 2024

Deadline to submit proposals to CCC

January 17, 2025

 CCC completes review of proposals

February 7, 2025   

 Minor revisions returned to CCC 

February 11, 2025

Undergraduate Assembly Meeting

February 21, 2025

 Resubmission to CCC (if major revisions required) 
March 7, 2025 CCC completes review of resubmitted proposals
April 8, 2025 Undergraduate Assembly Meeting
