Master of Social Work
Our top-ranked Master of Social Work Program is CSWE accredited, affordable, and convenient with options for full-time or part-time, advanced standing, cohorts, dual degree programs, and graduate certificate options. You can take classes 100% online or on-campus in Arlington and Fort Worth.
In-state and out-of-state students can apply for the online program. Out-of-State students completing the MSW program online will pay in-state tuition rates if they reside out of state during the duration of the program. We have been offering our MSW program since 1967 and the MSW online program started in 2010, so we have years of experience with in-person and online education. The same faculty teaching our in-person classes, teach our online classes.
The BSW degree is not required (more than 60% of our MSW students have a bachelor’s degree in another field). The GRE is not required – just follow the two-step admissions process.
Our MSW program is consistently ranked among the best in the nation and is unique in that we offer a specialized advanced curriculum with five concentration areas to choose from:
- Direct Practice in Mental Health & Substance Misuse
- Direct Practice in Aging
- Direct Practice with Children & Families
- Direct Practice in Health
- Macro-Practice: Community and Administrative Practice
